Floating Foundation's 2nd expedition sets sail in June, bringing highly valued medical resources and training to remote pacific islands.

We are going to need a bigger boat!
After three years of exploring remote islands, working with communities and conducting research in the Pacific Ocean, it is time for us to get our OWN boat!
You see, the Floating Foundation is a volunteer driven organisation. Anyone can join us. We value passion, enthusiasm and determination! You don't need to be a marine scientist to learn to dive, collect samples and help in the lab!
You don't need to be a doctor to help teach first aid and train remote islanders to handle problems and care for their communities.
We train you on board!
We believe that changing the world should be fun and INCLUSIVE!
The Floating Foundation has made a measurable impact in the South Pacific, running on the passion and dedication of our small team and volunteers, and a tiny budget.
We've been borrowing boats for three years, and if the project is to expand it's time to take the next step.
We are looking for those who are ready to support a dynamic, action-focused organisation in building a strong future.
Our new boat is going to be fantastic.
She's a work boat, with space for our fast-boats, dive gear, laboratory, hang out areas and space to host all our lovely volunteers.
It's going to be great being able to set up our new ship with the equipment we need to study, research, assist others and test solutions in the South Pacific.
With our own ship, we can decide our own schedule. That means more projects, more opportunities for scientists and more opportunities for YOU to come join us!
Buying a boat is SCARY. It costs a lot to run and look after. Luckily, the Floating Foundation has a bit of experience making expeditions run on a lower budget. We have proof that we can handle our own ship.
Let's do this!
I, Craig Koning, am the founder of this organisation. It is my passion and I am excited to see the Foundation expand, take on bigger challenges, and create a bigger impact.
