Trip to NYDS 2018

Lucy Sparks, Preston Maluafiti, Briana Coppell and Nadia Luketina have all been accepted into the National Youth Drama School for 2017. The course runs for eight days (April 14-22) and takes place in Havelock North. Lucy will be taking a course on Dance for commercial purpose, Preston is enrolled in a workshop named ‘‘the acting voice”, Briana will be in an intensive directing class and Nadia will be focusing on short film.

This group of students are already holding fundraisers such as sausage sizzles, car washes, bake sales as well as working hard in summer jobs to earn as much as they can on their own. The cost of tuition, flights and accommodation comes to $4,800 for all four students. This is an amazing opportunity for these students to work with the top young drama talents in New Zealand, as well as learn from experienced and renowned tutors.
