Wee Tuesday would have been in considerable pain but still managed to make her way back home.
Otago
One of our long term foster cats Tuesday who was taken into care with her kittens over a year ago has sadly come home injured. Tuesday was rushed to Remarkable Vets last week only to discover she had been shot in the leg.
Unfortunately damage was so extensive the leg could not be saved and the best outcome to give her the most favourable quality of life was to amputate the leg. From now on Tuesday will remain an indoor cat and live in her forever home with Teri where she is loved and cared for.
Queenstown Cat Rescue is committed to helping rescue injured and helpless cats wherever possible. Any donations will go towards the surgical costs of $2200.00 and her ongoing care.
Queenstown Cat Rescue is a Strict No Kill Organisation. Every cat will get the best veterinary care and assistance necessary.

UPDATE ON TUESDAY 5 June 2020
Dear wee Tuesday has been such a brave wee cat and is doing very well with her recovery. She is healing well, no redness or swelling at the amputation site. Eating well & managing to strengthen her core, walking longer each day. Good on you Tuesday you are a real wee battler.
