University funds -Sandra Charles Mota

Sandra Charles Mota is 19 years old, Undergraduate female studying a five year Bachelor in Architecture at Papua New Guinea University Of Technology (UNITECH) in Lae Morobe Province. She completed her High school year in 2018 in Lae and scored GPA of 3.2 which earned a scholarship for her tuition, lodging and boarding fees last year (2019). As a little girl, she dreamt to be a contributor in whatever profession she undertook, especially to the development and infrastructure of her country. She is ambitious and believes in sheer hard work and commitment. She is confident to pursue her dream. Six months (15/07/19) ago, our late Dad, the main financial provider for Sandra, passed away in a remote makeshift work environment in the jungle of Papua New Guinea from Hypertension. Our late Dad believed that Education was the key to anyone's success. We have tried to raise funds for Sandra through Families but it has been difficult. Given Dad's passing, Sandra worked hard and completed the five foundations of Architecture subjects: Architecture Design 1, Building Science, Building Systems, History of Architecture, Grammar and Composition, scoring a GPA of 2, which was not enough for her to continue the scholarship program. She needed a GPA of 2+, and knowing Sandra if it was different she would score GPA 3+. My husband and I have been very supportive for the cost over the years, but it is has been a difficult two years for us as a new family after we lost our 13-month-old, third-born daughter in November 2017. We have been trying to get back on our feet, as all our savings were exhausted to save our little angel. It would be great to help Sandra archive her dream, as she would like to complete this Bachelor in honor of our late Dad, and I know Sandra will be very grateful to know there are people out there that care to assist.
