TUTUKAKA PLAYGROUND

The Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers Club Inc in Tutukaka, is requesting funding support for the establishment of a much-needed kids' playground. The Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers Club Inc is dedicated to providing a safe and engaging space for our children to play, socialize, and stay active.

The proposed kids' playground will not only benefit the children but also the families and residents of our community. It will serve as a hub for social interaction, promote physical activity, and enhance the overall well-being of our community members.

The funds requested will be utilized for the purchase of playground equipment, safety surfacing, installation costs.

The total cost of this playground is $200,000

The Whangarei District Council is currently funding $150,000 of this project but are seeking to raise approximately $50,000 through community donations and fundraising events to pay for the remainder for the playground cost. We have already secured $3,697 from member donations.
