Bay of Plenty
To all our followers and supporters we wanted to spread the word about our next endeavour. Our first bakkie, a Nissan 1400, was a work in progress and has served well while it has been ours. However, we have to return it to Youth With A Mission soon. We had it on contract basis with the agreement that we could fix it, use it and return it in working condition at an agreed date.
On May 1st we are transitioning to a new ministry role 2 hours out of Windhoek, under a new ministry organisation. This means the Nissan will be returned to YWAM and we will not have our own transport. Through a YWAM friend we have come into a new agreement of repossessing his Mazda 4X4 Twin Cab. There is some work needed but after a mechanic has assessed the vehicle he has encouraged us that it can be repaired. There are no major mechanical problems.
Therefore, we would like to share this fundraiser with you to see if you would be happy to support us in investing in repairing the Mazda 4x4 so we can have our own vehicle under our own name.
As the price of second hand vehicles are too high for our current situation we see this as a good opportunity. We need a strong vehicle for Namibian roads, and we have much work ahead of us towards developing our plot in Rundu, which requires a lot of transport.
