Tristians Journey

Hi my name is Catherine Roverts. I am a 32 year old single mother of 5.

On the 4th of October 2021 my 14 year old son Tristian Roverts was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma aka cancer.

He has undergone chemo ever since but unfortunately it has had no affect.

The tumor and cancer cells are still rapidly growing daily taking over his entire left side of his face including behind his eyes, near his ear drum, nasal cavities, neck/throat and also on his brain.

We're now down to our last known hope left of radiotherapy that requires us to be at the hospital EVERYDAY!

As luck would have it my vehicle has become unreliable unsafe and now unuseable.

I need transport to get to the hospital EVERYDAY.

I have full cover insurance but unfortunately insurance doesn't cover fixing any current problems.

Ive owned the vehicle for 8 years with no problems until the past 12 months but it's definitely now had it unfortunately.

To be honest I would love some HELP getting a newer more reliable and fuel efficient vehicle to be able to continue taking my son to the hospital everyday.

I can get temporary help through the cancer society to take us to the hospital and back home again.

However not only do I need a vehicle for daily trips to the hospital but also to take my 5 year old daughter to and from school daily and off to her grandparents when I'm needing someone to watch her on the times my son and I are in hospital over night in the CHOC ward.

Any help is hugely appreciated!

Any excess funds will be spent on spoiling Tristian and donations will be made to the child cancer foundation.
