Volunteering in the Cook Islands with Te Are Manu

Hi all,

In the Cook Islands, there is only one vet clinic. This vet clinic, Te Are Manu, relies predominantly on charitable donations and volunteer staffing to operate. Without this clinic, the thousands of animals around the islands would have no veterinary aid. The thought of sick and injured animals having nobody to properly care for them is not a pleasant one. The clinic also does masses of desexing and education, proactively improving the welfare of the animals.

I am looking to head over for two weeks at the beginning of August to volunteer in a vet nursing capacity.

Aside from just vet nursing, I want to be able to take over much needed supplies and equipment.

This fundraising page is to raise money towards flights, costs, supplies, and equipment. Any surplus will be used to further assist Te Are Manu, which may include a cash donation, sponsorship of another veterinary volunteer, or anything else Te Are Manu may need.
