Paa o Tauanui Water-spouting Upgrade
Our paa is in desperate need to replace spouting for the Wharenui, and Toilets, and replace the back wall and window of the Wharetipuna.
Bay of Plenty
1. We are looking at replacing the flashings and installing water spouting for the wharetipuna. This is causing damage to the foundations.
2. The water spouting surrounding the toilets, will be replaced and upgraded, and needed soak holes will be put in place.
3. The back wall of the wharenui will be renovated from the rot and new aluminium windows will be installed.

As the Chaiperson of the marae committee, in co-operation with the Trustee Chair and trustees of the marae, I will be project managing this development.
About us
Te Paa o Tauanui is one of 12 marae within the Waimana Valley. Our Hapu is Te Whakatane, our awa are Matatere and Tauranga. It is a place that hosts, our celebrations, our bereavements, events and gatherings.
Use of funds
The funds raised for this project will be used for
Coloursteel spouting supplied and installed, downpipes soakrings, materials and labour. $2606.00
South Wall, removal or existing cladding, install new wall framing, new wall insulation, apply new exterior weatherboards, flashings,facings and scribings, materials and labour. $6871
Fitting of 2 double glazed aluminium windows, sill flashings, lintels, supply and install. $2420
Freight/Travel, rubbish removal, scaffolding edge barrier $660
