Raising money for Wellington Early Intervention Trust

I am going to try running a 100km ultramarathon to highlight the amazing job that WEIT do, and hopefully fundraise a bit to help them.

Wellington

They currently have 34 preschool kids who attend weekly therapy and a waiting list of 14.

The therapy consists of music, speech, physical and early intervention teaching in small groups.

The children who come to the centre may have Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Aspergers, rare genetic disorders or developmental delays with no specific diagnosis.

The kids get a massive benefit from their "target all bases" approach, as we have personally experienced with our daughter.

However as with many programs, they are not fully funded. And provide the music component of the program without it being funded at all.

Any support would be much appreciated.

Richard this is a massive undertaking having seen my wife do the 100km walk a couple of years ago. So $1 per 1,000m seems fair enough for the hard yards you'll have to put in to raise dosh for this good cause. Go well, stay safe, ya looney .
