Our 12th Grade Girls Division 1 team from EAFC is working to raise funds for a Team Development Trip to Wellington on 8-10 September, 2017. Our wonderful coach, Haley Gleeson, a 2017 ‘Junior Football Coach of the Year’ nominee, continually drives and inspires our girls to develop as players individually, and as a team, together. Coach Haley has spent months reaching out to youth development coaches and clubs to organise this development opportunity, and has been lucky enough to convince coaches from some of the best football academies in the country – Phoenix Football Academy and Ole Football Academy – to find time in their schedules for training sessions with our girls. The weekend wraps up with a mini-tournament organised through Capital Football FTC.

As Team Manager, my role is supporting Coach Haley, keeping the girls and parents informed, and helping with our team's fundraising efforts (including bake sales and sausage sizzles)!

Use of funds
The cost for the team to travel to Wellington to take advantage of this development programme is substantial.
The funds raised will go towards our team’s travel and accommodation while in Wellington, as well as a customised training day at the Ole Football Academy.
We would be so grateful for any amount of support we receive.

Sausage Sizzle Success!! 27 July 2017
Over the past two weeks, we've run four sausage sizzles, which included home baking and bacon butties, and have made over $1700! The girls have really worked hard...what an awesome team building experience!
Our next sausage sizzle is on Saturday at the EAFC soccer fields at Michaels Ave.
