Please help us with relocation costs. We need $20,000 to move.

Pillars in Christchurch is moving premises and need your help.
We have been temporarily housed in an old stately house in st Albans' residential area since our last premises came down in the 2010 February earthquake. The City Council has not given us resource consent to stay where we are as our services do not fit the residential criteria and we have to move.
We have been trying to find funds to move us to our new premises at 50 Durham Street. These are great premises but its costing about $20,000 to move even if we hire a truck and do it ourselves. We need to sort out the wiring for our data and set up phones including paying for the move. Please help us in our time of need.
Pillars was founded over 30 years ago as a charity supporting one of Aotearoa's most vulnerable yet invisible populations- children with parents in prison. After three decades, Pillars children and families were honored to be named as the NZ Community of the Year at the New Zealander of the Year Awards in 2018.
To cover the costs to relocate from Springfield Road in Christchurch to our new premises in Durham Street which includes the moving expenses, setting up data, phones, and the premises, etc. Any surplus will support the children's mentoring programme.
