We are doing a charity walk to raise funds our local community school which relies on private donations for the bulk of its funding.

Northland

The Kaipara Campus embraces a geographic region in sunny Northland, stretching from Warkworth in the southern part through to Dargaville in the north-western boundary.

We are passionate about the school and the students that attend. We want to help them succeed and excel in their education and become valued and contributing members of the community that have the skills and values to make a difference to the world that we live in.

A large proportion of the funding for the school comes from private donations so we holding a charity walkathon where members of the community will get sponsors to back them to do a walk between 5 and 20km. The school is a registered charity and any sponsorship over $5 can receive a donation receipt to claim a tax credit. Every bit is warmly appreciated!

I'm involved with a group of others to arrange this event because we believe in the ethos and values of this school and want to help them as much as possible to further their mission.
