Help the Irish Wolfhound attack victim from Dunedin recover

At 6:30am on December 1, 2015, a woman was severely mauled by three Irish Wolfhounds in Dunedin, New Zealand. Please help her recovery.

The ferocious attack has left the victim needing several operations, including plastic surgery and it is not yet known if she will walk again. ACC are not able to compensate for income lost so the victim needs your support.

Like many of us I was shocked when I read about the ferocious attack of three Irish Wolfhounds that happened in Dunedin, so I wanted to make a donation to help the victim's recovery.

No-one had set up a Give-a-little page yet so I then contacted the Otago Daily Times reporter, Vaughan Elder, who contacted the victim (who wishes to remain anonymous), and the victim has given me permission to set up this page on her behalf.

All funds will go directly to the victim.

I just think this is the worst thing to happen to someone right before Christmas so I thought I'd do something about it.

Please help if you can. I'm sure it will make this person's day a little bit brighter to know that people are really moved by this incident and prepared to help this individual in their time of need.

I read about the attack in the news and wanted to make a difference.

I am not personally connected with the victim, but I have contacted them and I do have their permission to set up this page. They will be the verified Payee.

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for your generosity.

It really means a lot to see so many people caring about what happens to others in the community and lending a helping hand at someones time of need.

The journey ahead will be difficult and challenging but the money contributed will help out in so many ways like paying bills, getting groceries, and travel costs for treatment.
