Jordi Ditfort & Kyle Wisnewski - FISU World Futsal Championship in Portugal July 2022

Jordi Ditfort & Kyle Wisnewski have been selected to represent New Zealand at the World University Futsal Championships in Portugal.

Jordi Ditfort has been playing Futsal since moving to Hamilton in 2015 and has spent 5 seasons playing for the Waikato Rapids after two years with the Waibop youth teams. Also a member of the Futsal Whites with 11 caps and 5 goals.

Kyle Wisnewski has been playing Futsal since he was 5 years old & has represented Waibop at both Youth level and Mens level. He’s been a part of the Men's national league set up for Waikato for 6 seasons tallying over 74 matches and 35 goals.

Both Jordi and Kyle are active within the Waikato community, coaching at different age levels for Waibop Youth Nationals, University Nationals and numerous years coaching High School teams within the region to attend High School Nationals. Kyle also is founder and owner of Four Zero Futsal which provides futsal pathways for children of all ages and abilities in Waikato.

Late acceptance into the tournament and flight availability leaves us with limited time and options to raise funds.

This tournament is a fantastic opportunity for us to get international experience before World Cup qualifiers in October 2023 as there has been no International futsal for the New Zealand team since 2019.
