What's a cause page, and who is it for?

A cause page on Givealittle is a tool that can be used for a huge variety of fundraising purposes. In a nutshell, if you're trying to fulfill a need, or if you're a charity fundraising for a special project rather than ongoing operational costs, a cause page is the right page type for you.

  • Collect support for a friend or family member in need

  • Help cover the costs of studying abroad

  • Fundraise for pricey medical treatment

  • This kind of page has to have an end date

  • You can choose to set a goal or not (goals are pretty motivational for donors

  • The total amount donated will show on the page

  • Your supporters can donate directly, and/or make their own fundraiser page on behalf by clicking “Fundraise”. Example: “Michaela decides to do 25 pushups a day to support your cause, she sets up a Fundraiser page paying to your Cause page and all the donations to her page tally up directly on Cause page total.
