Every year, thousands of Kiwis take on immense challenges in the name of charity and helping out those less fortunate.
For the "Mount" Everest Challenge group, they took on the 232m of Mount Maunganui...38 times! At the end of their multiple ascents of the iconic rise, the team had matched the 8000m+ elevation of Mount Everest, all in the name of supporting the Taunranga Womens Refuge.
Over 230 fundraisers took part in the campaign, with a total of $67,252.36 raised by their fanatstic hard work and effort. That's a lot of sore feet!
If you have an event that you're planning or taking part in, Givealittle is the perfect place to raise funds and get others involved.
