What is Westie Wednesday?

A community wide ‘mufti’ or fundraising day

What is it for?

This event is to help us raise funds for our programmes in West Auckland and it’s your chance to express your ‘Westiness’ that day or during that week…we can work this out with you

Who gets involved?

Supporters range from:

Local West Auckland businesses, Schools, Community groups

On this day, we celebrate being a proud Kiwi through various means and ways that mean something significant to you, your school and your area.

It would be great if you could support us - to help us ‘to grow great Kiwi kids!’

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
