This year Rape Awareness Week in Dunedin is going to involve public displays, the street day appeal on Saturday 8th May, raffles. There is also a 30th year Anniversary commemorative poster competition for this years theme of celebrating Women through Art. Rape Awareness Week is a chance for us to increase our visibility as a community agency, raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse in our community and to fundraise. The funds raised during this event will go towards the services we provide including: support; information and resources; prevention focused education.
