Each year our rescue crew fly over 320 lifesaving mission in Hawke’s Bay, providing search and rescue services, urgent medical assistance at accident scenes, and inter-hospital transfers for the critically ill.

While we receive fees for services from the DHB, Ministry of Health, Police, Search and Rescue and ACC, this only accounts for 48% of our annual operating costs. This means that we have to fundraise the remaining 52% of our operating costs, which is around $1.3 million each year.
