243kms of Running, Cycling and Kayaking from one side of the South Island to the other in just two days.

After first completing the Coast to Coast in 2013 I have decided to accept the challenge again in 2015. 2013 didn't quite go to plan with my body getting the better of me with it taking me more than 20 hours to complete the course over the 2 days. This year I am aiming to push my body even harder through my training with the aim of completing the course in under 16 hours. I would truly appreciate your support of my goal by supporting my fund aimed to help Scouts from across New Zealand get the opportunity to accept the challenge of Outward Bound New Zealand as I was privileged to in 2008 which first inspired me to accept the challenge of the Coast to Coast.
In 2008 I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to attend Outward Bound New Zealand in Anakiwa. Receiving this privilege was the first inspired me to accept the challenge of endurance sports. the first challenge was set by the requirement to be able to run 3.5km before attending the course. This culminated with me running my first half marathon at the end of my course in just over 2 hours, and also setting myself the goal to complete the Coast to Coast before I turned 30 (which I achieved with 3 days to spare). I want to ensure that many other Scouts from around New Zealand to get the opportunity to accept the of Outward Bound and realise their full potential. To achieve this I have established a fund to help support them get them to get their as well as a network to provide them with the peer support to ensure as many other Scouts as possible are aware of the opportunities the exists for them through Outward Bound.
