RB's Save the Children Global Challenge

From 4–12 June 2011, myself and 30 staff from RB will take on physical labour to renovate two crèches in Petrolina, Brazil. They’re used by young vulnerable children for education and play. We’ll be making the crèches brighter, cleaner spaces inside and out by painting, repairing restrooms, kitchen walls and floors and planting trees, improving recreational areas and playgrounds.

Save the Children is Reckitt Benckiser's global charity partner and since 2003 we’ve raised over £4 million to save children's lives.

I’ve been lucky enough to have been selected to take part in the third RB Global Challenge for Save the Children.

Your donation will go directly to Save the Children, and will help me in reaching my fundraising target.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
