We’re daring people to get outside of their comfort zone, just like our young people do through our programmes
Southland
Our Southern youth face many challenges in this ever-changing world and we believe every child is owed the opportunity to thrive, belong and live a fulfilling life.
We want every child to know: What you have inside is greater than any obstacle.
Graeme Dingle Foundation Southern’s contribution to our region is to help our tamariki and rangatahi develop self-belief, life skills and resilience, and build their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Our 2022 Drop For Youth jumpers will make a difference for tamariki and rangatahi in the lower South Island. Your support will directly enable students involved in the Kiwi Can, Stars and Career Navigator programmes to develop these important life skills. If we reach our collective goal, this is the equivalent of funding the delivery of:
• Kiwi Can for 140 students at a school for a whole year, where students receive an activity-based lesson every week facilitated by two of our amazing Kiwi Can Leaders; or
• the Stars programme and peer mentoring for a year for over 200 Year 9 students; or
• the Career Navigator programme in a secondary school for three terms.
Sign up to take part in our FUN fundraiser which will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone – just like our programmes challenge our young people.
All money raised will stay in the Southern region.
