Hi family, friends and supporters!

On Saturday 16 September 2023 our rowing squad is kicking off our fundraising activities for the 2023/24 season with an Ergathon. We will each row the length of Lake Karapiro (our regular regatta race venue) on rowing machines - ‘ergs’. The distance is 11km, which may not sound far, but our normal race distance is 2km, so 11km is going to be a push for us, especially this early in our season!

The Ergathon is being held from 10am - 3pm at Greenwoods Corner in Epsom, as part of the Greenwoods Corner Epsom Spring Festival. You are welcome to come along and see us in action, and give us a big cheer!

We, like other sports, have increased and ongoing operating and maintenance costs, and the money will be put towards these expenses. Our fundraising target this year is $50,000+ so you can see we have quite a challenge ahead of us.

Each rower is hoping to raise a minimum of $150, with a $50 voucher going to the individual who raises the most. We are asking you to sponsor us for this 11km challenge, with any amount you choose to support with. Thank you for considering us.
