The third run of the Great Auckland Bed Race will be held at Auckland Domain on Sun 22 Mar to raise funds for a wide range of NZ charities!

The third run of the King Koil Great Auckland Bed Race is another family fun day extravaganza, kicked off by a themed novelty fancy dress bed parade in the morning. This year's theme is Heroes and Villains! There's plenty of exciting entertainment lined up over lunchtime, including the largest organised pillow fight Auckland has ever seen. The bed race itself runs in the afternoon, with running teams steering their specially crafted “beds” at breakneck speed around a designated 3km course within Auckland Domain.
The King Koil Great Auckland Bed Race is an annual charity fundraising event, and participants can choose to raise money for ANY registered NZ charity. The event is free entry, with gold coin collection buckets supporting the most popular attractions. Entertainment throughout the day includes cheerleaders, dancers, musicians and skilled performers. V8 SuperTourer Greg Murphy will be live on stage for the trophy presentation to round off another mega fundraising day!
