Engineers Without Borders NZ helps connect, educate and empower people so that everyone can live a life of opportunity, free from poverty. YOU can help EWBNZ provide access to the engineering knowledge and resources required by developing communities in the South Pacific and New Zealand.

This team is hoping to fundraise $6,000 this year and raise awareness for EWBNZ whilst running the Christchurch 10K, half or full marathon!

If you raise over $100 as one of our participants you will receive a free sports t-shirt.

We have discounted prices on all the events, and additional prizes if certain fundraising milestones are reached.

Our prices are:

Full Marathon - $76

Half Marathon - $64

10K - $36

This year we are also doing the EWB Walk for Water, which aims to raise awareness around the issue of access to fresh water in the developing world. Participants carry a 20 L container of water on their shoulders for the 10 km event. This is a distance and weight comparable to what is travelled and carried in some communities everyday during dry seasons.
