In 2012 & 2013 a who's who of local personalities donned gloves to raise money for the Malcam Trust and Otago community Hospice.

Over $64,000 was raised over these two events and no on 27 September 2014, 18 new contenders will step into the ring to raise funds for 16 charities within the city of Dunedin!

This red carpet evening will showcase the biggest clashes in Showdown history with outstanding sporting action, exceptional entertainment, live band, great wine and food and a chance to dress up and raise money at Dunedin's biggest black tie charity sporting event!
