1000kms for Starlit Hope

Over the course of the month 9 of us (all cousins of Gabby) are aiming to walk/run/row 1000kms to raise money for Starlit Hope. This is a cause really close to our hearts and we would really appreciate any donations. All donations will be used to create Christmas Boredom boxes and spread the Christmas love across Oncology wards throughout NZ.

Starlit Hope is a charity founded by Gabby Devine who passed away in 2015 aged 13 years. While she was in remission in 2014 she created this charity to provide 'Boredom boxes' and random acts of kindness to children who were going through cancer treatment, their families and the staff at the oncology wards throughout NZ (especially at Starship Hospital and New Plymouth). She knew first-hand how boring it can be in hospital and wanted to make a difference to other people’s lives.
