To support the Mental Health foundation, I'll be running a 24 hour marathon on July 31st. Please donate if you can.
Nationwide
Everyone in New Zealand knows someone who has struggled with their mental health. It's a worryingly prevalent issue, and without intervention, is only going to get worse.
The Mental Health Foundation have a focus on improving New Zealand's mental health epidemic through a variety of programmes. Notably, their approach places strong emphasis on community, as well as awareness, support, and resources for those who are struggling.
In support of the Mental Health Foundation, I'll be running a 24 hour marathon. Every hour between 9am July 31st and 9am the following day, I'll be running 1.8km. Over the course of 24 hours, this adds up to just over the distance of a marathon (43.2km).
Donations are appreciated. Every dollar counts.
Marathon Video 2 August 2021
A huge thanks for your support. This marathon was hands down one of the most physically and mentally demanding things I've ever done. I've put a small video together about the marathon, which you can view below.
