Amy is Jumping for Endometriosis New Zealand!

$870 of $600 goal
Given by 15 generous donors in 4 weeks

I am 1 in 10 who suffer from this disease, so in March 2022 I am raising awareness by jumping out of a plane! I would love your help!!

Auckland

Hi everyone, my names Amy and I have suffered with Endometriosis for years.

Only 1 in 10 women will suffer with endometriosis, it is a chronic disease that causes tissue to grow outside of your uterus and other organs in your body. I want to end the stigma that painful periods are 'normal'. I heard this for 6 years before doctors took me seriously, it has affected many areas of my life and now Im learning to manage the pain and cope with having Endo.

I have had 2 massive surgeries which resulted in surgeons finding endometriosis at stage four, attached to my bladder, bowel, stomach, spine and covering my left ovary. They also removed a 7.5cm cyst that was twisting my left ovary.

There is no cure for endometriosis. Endometriosis is a silent and invisible illness, I want to raise awareness for this disease! We shouldn't have to suffer in silence.

To raise awareness, I am facing one of my biggest fears and JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE!!

All donations received will go to Endometriosis New Zealand. This organisation has provided so much clarity for myself and I'm sure many other Endo warriors out there.

If you aren't able to donate, please share my link to spread awareness about this chronic disease. We deserve to be heard.

Much love, Amy xx
