We're showing our Hearts of Gold and doing our bit to support the St John Annual Appeal.
Auckland
After the success of several previous Annual Appeal walking challenges, we're lacing up our walking shoes again to raise funds for the St John Heart of Gold Annual Appeal.
On Friday the 6th of April 2018, our team of 8 will be tackling the Coast to Coast walk, which covers 16km - that's 128km combined! The Coast to Coast walk is a hike across Auckland from one coast to the other, from Waitemata to Manukau. We'll be setting off from the Auckland Viaduct Harbour, and finishing up at the Onehunga Wharf.
We expect it to be challenging but the despite sore feet and few blisters, we know it's all for an amazing cause. Our target is $2000.00, and we're aiming to raise this to help provide frontline St John Ambulance officers with the training and equipment they need to keep doing what they do best. St John Ambulance Officers are saving lives every day across New Zealand, and this is our way to stand up and show our support.
So please spare a few bucks to support our cause - we're motivated to reach our goal but every ounce of support helps, and every dollar makes a difference!
All funds raised will be donated to the St John Annual Appeal, and will be spent on training for Ambulance officers and the life saving equipment they need to continue helping people across New Zealand every day.
