Given by 1 generous donor in around 5 months

Help us raise money on the way to run/walking the World's steepest street 654 in 6 hours for Mental Health Life Matters.

Otago

Kia ora, New Zealand I need your help & support I am a ex-Cadburys women who suffered from depression and anxiety after our Cadburys redundancy. I also started a business and this is where my life started to fall apart and I no longer wanted to live because I was treated very badly by some unprofessional business people who clearly don't give a damn about the mental health of New Zealanders. To help keep so many of us from Cadburys lifted a team called Project hope & beyond was formed, and we have started training for the Baldwin Street Challenge 654 in 6 hours. I have started training with a goal to reach 150k walked each week leading up to the 27th of November. More than anything can you please share, because when we share mental health stories it helps people not to feel so alone!! Thank You!

The Baldwin Street Challenge 654 in 6 hours will be open to the public to book a spot to climb steepest street in the world. Follow at Life Matters and Project hope & beyond for more details.

Project Hope & Beyond. is an amazing group of Ex-Cadburys workers + Community. Off the back of the closure of Cadburys Dunedin The Project Team was created to raise money for mental health and health support services in New Zealand. We rise when we lift others, and by supporting our community it is lifting our staff through our mental health wobbles and helps to create connection.

The Project Team fundraises for Life Matters, I Am Hope NZ & Ronald Mcdonald House every Saturday on the old Cadburys Car park. Last year the team took back their old home Cadburys and ran tours through the empty factory to raise money for I Am Hope NZ. This year funds are being raised for Life Matters.

Money raised for Life Matters will go to supporting people at risk of suicide and their whanau, and will also help to provide community education, community awareness and work towards reducing stigma.

You can help by sharing our event with all of New Zealand, because we need your help New Zealand to help lift our team up Baldwin Street. Teams that would love to challenge themselves to inspire and lift those around them in the community can make contact with The Project Team for more details. Please Text Megan on 021 041 1081.

So grateful to all the amazing support!

Thank you!
