Bayleys Plate up for a Purpose - Andrew Woods
Welcome to my page.Canterbury
Name: Andrew “Woodsy” Woods
Title and Company: Partner and Chair of the Board, Chapman Tripp
What is your cooking experience? I can often be found in the cookery section of a book shop searching for the next book of perfect comfort food. I don’t usually cook the same dish twice because the pile of books that have been carried home is growing and some are still to be opened.
What would your cooking signature dish be? A passionfruit tart (borrowed from Australian chef Neil Perry) is a particular favourite. And it becomes a lemon tart when passionfruit are not in season.
Why are you cooking to help disadvantaged Canterbury children get a fair start in education?
Giving children the right tools to set them up for learning is essential to a good start in life. This is a great opportunity to support a fantastic cause.
What does being part of Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose mean to you and your organisation? Chapman Tripp is a great supporter of Christchurch City Mission and I’m delighted to take part in this fun event to help Canterbury’s schoolchildren. The firm has a long-established corporate social responsibility programme and Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose aligns with our aim to make a positive difference in the communities where we work and live.
