I’m doing this for the Waipuna hospice as a thank you for helping out my mum
Bay of Plenty
Hello my name is Regan when I was 15 I lost my mum to cancer. She had a 2year battle with cancer and unfortunately she lost her life fighting against it.
My mum went through a lot of pain and suffering to try beat it but she came up short. It was really hard on the family. But that’s where the waipuna hospice came into the picture, my mum had been given about less than a month to live she just wanted to be free and do whatever she wanted. So we took her to the waipuna hospice out at Bethlehem it was so peaceful, quiet, so everyone was very welcoming. So we left mum there for a few days.
When we came to pick her up I just peaked in to see what she was doing and she was singing quietly to herself looking outside at the beautiful surroundings and I had a tear in my eye cause at that moment I knew she was happy. Over the past few days I don’t know what the staff of the waipuna hospice did, but they Shaw made her happy. About a week went by and it was the saddest moment of my life, my mum had passed away. I just want to thank everyone at the waipuna hospice for what they did, so in return I’m going to try and raise as much money as I can for them😜!!
Doing this for my mum she passed away from cancer. Waipuna hospice was there for her along the way so it’s about time I give back to them.
