I am hoping to raise awareness for the IHC organisation by competing in the Coast to Coast multisport race.

Early last year I decided to bite the bullet and enter the 2018 Kathmandu Coast to Coast multisport race for my first time.

This is something I have always wanted to do and it has been a massive learning curve having to learn all of the necessary skills required to complete the 243 km race from one side of New Zealand to the other.

So far training has gone well and it dawned on me during a training run that rather than complete this challenge purely for my own satisfaction, it would be great to raise some funds for a worthy cause in the process.

On Christmas Day last year I visited an IHC care home and was absolutely blown away by the wonderful work this organisation does for people with intellectual disabilities.

My goal is to raise funds that IHC can put towards caring for people with disabilities and aide them in giving people with disabilities a great quality of life. Please help me to make a difference.

A massive thank you to everyone who has kindly donated to the IHC Givealittle page! The page closes this Saturday and so far we have reached a total of $820.00 which will go directly to IHC next month. I am humbled by your support.
