Riding Tour Aotearoa, a self supported 3000 km, mountain bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff in support of Mental Health New Zealand.

Nationwide

From 18th Feb 2020 for three weeks I am going to ride in Tour Aotearoa, a self supported 3000 km, mountain bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

Although this journey will be filled with rough terrain, physically grueling and require plenty of will power, many kiwis face much tougher obstacles in their daily lives.

I'm doing this because I'm a passionate advocate for mental health and a great believer in the value of being active in the great outdoors as a way of boosting mental wellbeing.

I am doing this to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation of NZ and help them break down the stigma related to mental illness, especially amongst men and especially in the trade industry.

I am doing this because nearly half of all kiwis will experience a mental illness at some point in their life.

I want them to know they're not alone, and that help is available.

Please join me on this journey and support this great cause.
