Tour Aotearoa 3000km Mountain Bike Ride Cape Reinga to Bluff

Thanks to my ever supportive, generous and patient family. I am taking a month off work in late February to ride the length of NZ - Cape Reinga to Bluff - so bike and body willing I'm going to give it my best shot.

This is a self-supported cycling adventure traveling on cycle trails and quiet gravel roads with no outside support so carrying everything I need on my bike. There are 300 other like minded souls from NZ and the world partaking in this adventure.

I want to raise funds for CACTUS who

-are a community based life skills fitness program

-based in secondary schools for year 7 - 13

-operates x3 6.30-8.30 mornings per week each term ending with a "longest day challenge"

-staffed by instructors experienced in teaching life skills and fitness

-partners with Police, Fire Service and other community groups

-involves physical activity combined with problem solving

-develops self awareness, teamwork self discipline, accountability, time management, consequences and leadership

-no government funding
