Emma and Hika at Z Hewletts Rd - Drop Your Boss 2021

At the Graeme Dingle Foundation they believe "what you have on the inside is greater than any obstacle you may face". In the spirit of that ethos, Hika and Emma from Z Hewletts Road are making the leap, 12,000 feet out of a plane, to help raise money towards the incredible work the foundation does here in our own community.

Z Energy in Tauranga has a longstanding commitment and connection with the Graeme Dingle Foundation. GDF WBoP have been our Good In The Hood nominated charity for a long time and our staff and bosses have been involved as mentors, Drop Your Boss participants and supporters in many ways over the years. We are proud to be carrying on the tradition for an excellent cause we feel passionate about and participating in Drop Your Boss this year. We are so invested in making our community the best place in NZ to grow up and we know not all young people are given equal support and opportunity; by jumping for Graeme Dingle Foundation we are contributing towards helping every child to reach their full potential and to create the future they want.

The Graeme Dingle Foundation runs Project K, Kiwi Can, Career Navigator and Stars; reaching over 3,700 young people in the Western Bay of Plenty. These are all proven and successful school-based programmes that aim to inspire young people to reach their full potential by helping to build their self-esteem, promote good values and teach valuable life, education and health skills.

They are an incredible organisation, offering our young people some amazing opportunities to become the best version of themselves. We are jumping so we can demonstrate to our tamariki and rangatahi that you can overcome any fear and achieve your goals with the right support and mind-set. All the funds we raise through my efforts go directly to the foundation to help them continue their mahi.
