Participating in Dry July to raise money for the Will to live trust
Canterbury
Its very easy to have a beer and unwind at the end of a hard days work or even indulge in a couple of drinks on the weekend just for the sake of it, so a group of us blokes have decided to challenge ourselves and participate in Dry July to raise funds for the Will to Live charity to support Mental health in the rural community. As we all work in rural jobs or come from rural backgrounds, its only fitting that we get behind the Will to Live organisation.
Will to live is a non-profit organisation that targets helping members in the rural community with there mental well-being when the going gets tough. Not only is this a great initiative in raising awareness around mental health but 100% of proceeds go towards the funding of private counselling sessions for anyone who is seeking help.
That money you were gonna spend on a box of speights could be better well spent in helping someone elses well-being, you might even save someones life!
So come and get behind us as we struggle through the month of July in support of an awesome cause!
Goal reached! 21 July 2021
We’ve had an awesome response over the last 24 hours that we’ve decided to increase our goal! Thanks heaps guys
