Dry July - We dare you to bet on GM & Barry not being able to complete one month without a drink

$5,410 donated
Given by 29 generous donors in 6 weeks

If we fail, we will double your donation! Either way our struggling kids benefit by getting the FREE counselling that they are asking for.

Auckland

Barry and I agree that completing Dry July is not a hard task to achieve, however it is a task that not only helps our livers, but it will also help remind us all that we have struggling children out there that have built up the strength and the courage to ask for help. But without YOUR donation, the help will be so much harder for them to find.

We are not trying to change the world. We are simply using Dry July as a reason to help change a few young lives.

All of your donation will be donated to Gumboot Friday for free kids counselling with zero administration costs.

On behalf of Barry Galbraith and I, and on behalf of our struggling youth, thank you for having a massive heart.

ZERO suicide at home is the target we all want as a minimum.

Just an iddy biddy amount from the Millar’s (thanks to an exorbitant house build project) but every little bit counts right, and it’s a cause I feel really fuelled by. Love your work guys, nearly there now!!

Hi Mary Nash. Your donation is deeply appreciated and a huge thank you from Barry and I. See below for some information - Here is some NZ statistics for you; On an average, 50% of children that are standing up and asking for help are aged between 8 and 11 years old. Funding for their help however is not readily available. The average counselling cost is $121.00 per child and on an average each child requires 4.5 counselling sessions. ($544.50 to give a child a better life, if not to save a child's life). This is how your money is being utilized, so again Barry Galbraith and I thank you. Please now make the time to click on the Gumboot Friday web link to learn a little more. Please note; all numbers stated above were presented from the Gumboot Friday team
