Ok, so.... Many friends and family have asked me.... Why?
why am I, of all people, jumping in the boxing ring on September 1st???
The answer is so important..... I want to bring mental health and suicide awareness to the Farming sector. According to NZ Statistics between 2007-2015 there were 185 farming men and woman whom took their own lives. On average that is over 20 lives lost per year- yet you never hear of these in any media reports!!!!
As a farmer myself, I know first hand the pressure, stress and heartbreak the cycles of farming brings and I would love to be able to raise $1000 to donate to The Key To Life Charity whom specialise in Mental Health and suicide Awareness.
