Emergency Services Run for Charity

$1,295 of $3,000 goal
Given by 34 generous donors in 19 days

Emergency Services to tackle a 24 hour relay run, helping those in essential need for mental health assistance.

Rolleston, Canterbury

A small team consisting of Police, St John, Fire and Emergency and NZ Defense Force will complete a 24 hour relay run for the fantastic "I Am Hope' foundation.

All participants will be running 3 x 1 hour blocks over a 17 hour period each. For the majority, this will be the longest/most they have ever run. Two extra Police staff will also be aiming to run all 24 hours. All of those running have, in some way, been affected by suicide or mental health in our day to day roles, and although this may be a challenge for some of us, it's nothing compared to what our young people face every day. We're all extremely proud to be running for such a great charity.
