Emma & Angel walk for Endometriosis Awareness

Hi there,

We are both wanting to raise money and awareness for Endometriosis in NZ by walking most days of the week for the rest of March and then we are going to do a big nature walk in Pirongia on the first weekend of April.

I (Emma) am one of the 1 in 10 women who has Endometriosis. I was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis nearly 4 years ago after a laparoscopy and had been dealing with excruciating pain for years before that. I still to this day experience bad pain and flare ups and know so many women who do. I agree that we need more research done to find a cure and fundraising is how we will do it!

Angel is one of my best friends and she is walking alongside me to support me and all the women who deal with endometriosis and to help raise awareness. I am so grateful that she is jumping on board with me.

Please donate if you can, we know times are tough for a lot of people but every cent counts. Walking everyday and doing a massive walk that takes a few hours is actually a lot and also a big achievement for us with our busy lives. We will be sharing our step reports once a week to help keep us accountable and show that we are passionate about raising funds and awareness. Thank you!
