Running the 2016 Everest Marathon in the name of those who have lost their lives due to the devastating Earthquake in Nepal.

Auckland

On May 14th 2015 I was destined to travel to Kathmandu to compete in the Everest Marathon.

April 24th 2015 a 7.8 Magnitude Earthquake struck Nepal causing a stream of devastating events and a unbelievable loss of life.

The Himalayan Trust is raising money to help rebuild infrastructure in the Solukhumbu region. There is going to be so much to rebuild, the needs will be enormous and so every dollar is so gratefully received.

Melissa Jenkins' involvement (page creator)

I will be running the 2016 Everest Marathon in the name of those who have lost their lives due to the devastating Earthquake in Nepal.

I will raise awareness and money towards the Himalayan Trusts appeal to help the rebuild.
