Fundraiser for Stroke Foundation NZ

$2,040 donated
Given by 45 generous donors in around 5 months

In May 2021 I am going to run the Rotorua half marathon for my father and to raise money for The Stroke Foundation NZ.

Bay of Plenty

In October 2020 my father, Mike, suffered a severe stroke.

He went from being a fully independent person to now requiring significant on going care.

This has had a huge impact on him and my family.

In May 2021 I am going to run the Rotorua half marathon for my father and the stroke foundation.

I have set up this page to fundraiser money for The Stroke Foundation NZ as they provide on going support for people affected by a stroke and their families. They also donate to the neurological centre in Auckland for research into stroke prevention and rehabilitation.

Alana McMillan's involvement (page creator)

I wish to fundraise money for the stroke foundation which supports the community and research for one of the leading causes of death disability in New Zealand.
