Getting head shaved

$1,600 of $250 goal
Given by 17 generous donors in 11 days

I am fundraising for KidsCan to help disadvantaged kids in Aotearoa New Zealand. Child poverty is all too widespread a tragedy here.

Nationwide

I am not fit enough to attempt a marathon, or some other grand achievement like that. What I do have is long hair that many friends and colleagues have conflicting views with. Some work colleagues were conspiring to shave my head so I said I'll let you if you raise a couple of hundred dollars for charity.

There are many worthy causes out there, however in the end I chose KidsCan to fundraise for. My team works specifically with schools, and many of the ones we work with have students who benefit from KidsCan. Child poverty can have devastating lifelong impacts and I hope the funds raised by this can make some difference to disadvantaged kids in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Additionally, I am hoping to donate my hair to a kids cancer charity once it is removed.
