Half Marathon Fundraising Challenge for Mental Health
I'd appreciate your support to provide adequate funding and resourcing to support the mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders.Nationwide
I have been training for the Hawkes Bay Half-Marathon this year. It was due to take place in May and was postponed til September due to COVID-19. The event has now been postponed til 2021 but I don't want all my training to go to waste, so I intend to still be in Napier on the day, 19 September 2020 and will walk the 21 kms as planned.
Whilst looking after our mental health has always been important, the particular demands of 2020 for all us has highlighted even more the need to provide adequate funding and resourcing to support the mental health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders.

Having whanāu who struggle with mental health and working with young people, many of whom are also facing mental health issues, means this is important to me.
