I'm walking the 11km traverse during the Auckland Marathon to raise funds for breast cancer charity Shocking Pink.
Auckland
In October of this year I will have my final treatment for breast cancer so what better way to celebrate than walk 11km and raise funds for an awesome charity who support younger women living with breast cancer, Shocking Pink.
October 2018 I was in the midst of grueling chemo for an aggressive form of breast cancer, I couldn't walk to the letter box without getting out of breath and needing a rest.
A year on from being bald, out of breath and sleeping 90% of the time I am challenging myself by entering in the 11km traverse in the Auckland Marathon. I will be walking and aim to do it in a time which means I won't be collected on the bus for slow people as we walk over the Harbour Bridge. Walking over the Bridge is a challenge in itself as I am petrified of heights.
Please dig deep so I can give back to a charity who have helped support me during a truly awful time.

They have supported me through treatment for breast cancer
