Achilles International's goal is to help disabled athletes to compete alongside able-bodied athletes. Give a little to help them
Auckland
Laura is a blind athlete training towards completing the 2018 New York Marathon on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Simon is acting as Laura's primary guide and will also be helping in the days before and after.
The NYC Marathon is a life-changing event on so many levels and it is Simon's aim to share this experience to assist, encourage, and inspire other people with a disability that dreams are achievable if you take action to overcome adversity.
You too can make a difference. Please donate here and help support Laura and Achilles New Zealand to positively influence, motivate, and change the lives of others. Flights, hotels, and associated travel costs all add up, so every bit helps.
We very much value and appreciate your support.
Go Achilles! And New York, watch out, here we come!
I have been training this year with Laura and will be her primary guide at New York.
