Fundraising for UNICEF New Zealand

Queenstown, Otago

UPDATE 24/03

Greatest of thanks to everyone who donated and those who came to the event.

So far we have raised $2845!(ticket sales and cash sales will be added here tomorrow).

Thank you for your generosity.

The night was a beautiful one of solidarity, kindness, generosity, awareness, and above all, unity.

We will keep this page up and running over the weekend, and all the money will be donated to Unicef on Monday.

And if you couldn't come to Dorothy Browns last night, there is one thing I'd recommend you to do this weekend - watch Winter on Fire (available on Netflix).

The reality of what Ukrainians have and are living through is harrowing,

yet the courage, heart and unity they fight with for their freedom and the future of their children is unwavering.

Let's stand by their side. Let's help.

**

The war in Ukraine has shocked the entire world.

And as always, the innocent and vulnerable pay the biggest price.

On March 23rd at 7pm Dorothy Browns theatre will be showing the document Winter on Fire.

Tickets will be $30 including a drink, and there will be a raffle too with great prizes from local businesses.

All the sales will be donated to Unicef.

Unicef is working across the war-ridden Ukraine and in the countries receiving the refugees.

Your donation helps Unicef deliver food, water, medical supplies, toys and psychosocial support to the children of Ukraine.

Thank you for your help,

during the dark times your kindness reminds us all that there is more good in the world than evil.
